At Red Bean Realty, we only hire real estate brokers and agents who have a minimum of 10 years of experience. This is just one of the many things that separate us from other real estate brokerages.
With so many new real estate agents out there nowadays, do you really want to trust your next real estate transaction with an inexperienced agent? We know we wouldn’t and we don’t think you should either. Don’t get us wrong, we love our fellow new agents and we all have to start somewhere. However, when it comes to protecting one of your life’s biggest investments, you need to make sure that your next real estate agent has both the experience and knowledge to protect you and your real estate investment and ensure your real estate transaction goes as smoothly as possible.
Without further ado, here is our Red Bean Realty team.
Dan has been a real estate agent since 2011 and has worked for Red Bean Realty since the very beginning.
Dan lives right off Magazine Street in Uptown New Orleans, but you can often find him walking the streets of the Warehouse District / CBD area of New Orleans as he attends to his real estate clients who have condos in that area.
Even though Dan has just over 11 years of experience in real estate, he also has over 15 years of experience in the construction and HVAC industry. In 2011, he gave up hot attics and sweaty armpits in order to pursue his dream of real estate. We don’t blame him.
In his free time, Dan loves enjoying the New Orleans lifestyle by walking the town, going to festivals, hosting get-togethers, spending time with family (he is one of 8 siblings) and friends, and most of all, spending time with his daughter Siena May and his wife Chelsea.
Dan does it all so whether you’re buying your next house, selling your home, looking for a place to rent, or if you need your condo managed, you should definitely contact Dan. He is a good guy to know and an excellent resource in the New Orleans condo and real estate market.
Karen is the founder, owner, and an associate broker of Red Bean Realty. Karen has been selling real estate since the early 1990s. Prior to starting RED BEAN REALTY in New Orleans, she worked for the largest Prudential Franchise in California and continued her real estate career with Prudential Gardner in Louisiana branding as “Crescent City Condos.com”. In 2008, Karen was ranked in the top 3% of all Prudential real estate agents nationwide. When Prudential opted to sell their Real Estate franchise, Karen started RED BEAN REALTY grounded on a local tradition of Red Beans and Rice; “Together We are Better” concept. Red Bean Realty now has a solid team of associates working collaboratively to service the real estate needs of our community using modern marketing techniques, traditional “know your neighbor” and “info is free!” principles of selling.
Karen holds a degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s in Business. Although Karen had a successful engineering career, she always held a real estate license and studied the different markets in various cities for investments. Real Estate has always been her true passion. Karen’s vision of tossing the strict corporate culture to start a small dynamic company with top-notch associates that all believe in working hard and having fun doing it became a reality. She believes, ” If you follow your passion, customers will appreciate and benefit from your internal drive and success will follow. It’s been a great journey so far!
These days Karen can be found enjoying the sunny weather of Gulf Shores, Alabama. She has over a dozen short-term rentals that she owns and rents out, so if you’re looking to get away from New Orleans for a vacation, you need to contact Karen.
